Monica has been a nurse for 22 years and a research coordinator for almost 8 years, and most of her experience has been in pulmonary care. She is currently running 4 clinical trials there. Jennifer Griego talks to Chris Denham and Kevin Guillen about training for the Grand Canyon. Both Chris and Kevin have hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim to rim almost ten times. They talk about how to train whether it be hiking or things to do in the gym. They talk about getting your body in shape and how the canyon usually requires more leg strength than cardio. They also talk about key things to bring and to do in the canyon.

**I decided to add music to my intro and ending. This is the first podcast I have done it to and I used the song “The Mountain” by Dierks Bentley. I chose this song because Dierks has a connection with CF through his best friend Jordan who passed away from CF. Also, this song resonates with me because of the lyrics and my journey and battle against CF.
